Is this a correct sticker for an 06B Baltimore Chevelle? Assembly manual (page B1) does not show it. Drawing was dated 5-2-68 with one revision on 2-5-69. If correct, what is correct position? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Sam,
Yes your correct...I`ve also run into the same question as to why it does not show or say a thing about the "Engine Cooling" decal. The decal is correct...other than being a reproduction decal. The correct placement is on opposite side of the "Tune Up" decal on the radiator top support panel.

Sam, are you working on that clunky old Dusk blue Chevelle again? You should just give up on it and sell it to me. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Can-I-Have-It.gif
My un-restored 69 Chevelle SS Baltimore car, 04A did not have a coolant sticker. In fact, the tune up sticker is on the passenger side of the rad top support where as the assy manual shows it to be placed opposite.
It actually makes more sense where it is as you can read the timing numbers while timing the car.
Woj.
I've always noticed that to,it would make more sense, each being closer to it's subject of reference.

Yep, in fact I can be a real PITA - just ask my wife http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif
FWIW, my Chevelle is like Woj's, no coolant sticker at all. Tuneup sticker is on driver's side though.

Sam,
I`m always willing to give a helping hand to any 1969 Chevelle owner.
Sam...too bad to live so far away....you have a personal invite to my all 1969 Chevelle summer bash party...your ticket in is your 1969 Chevelle....as in real car...no diecasts.
Bill...don`t worry I`ll send you all the info when the party date is determined in August...as well as all you other local 69 Chevelle owners....you all know I won`t forget anyone.
Dan.

Thanks Dan. Appreciate the invite. Ahh Chi-town and Chevelles in the summer when it is 110 in the shade in the desert. Now that sounds tempting. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

You mean no coolant stickers, or are they missing the tuneup stickers, too?
I think vehicles shipped to Canada for retail, usually carry RPO V-48 for increased coolant protection.
They carried a red lettering on white background decal on the passenger side front wheel inner skirt to denote this instead of the Rad. support.
