Sometimes when we look at a problem we forget about all the innovation that makes America great. Few of us saw that 30 years ago when the computer industry was just beginning to expand and develop. Well now some of the best American minds are dealing with one of our biggest problems, oil shortages, real and imagined. I saw this story on a local tv station and thought I would share. One of the scientists ask the simple question which brought a "duh" in my mind about why I haven't thought of that before, "why make ethanol to add to oil when we can make oil".

What our duly elected Socialist tyrants and the functionally illiterate media don't have the slightest inkling of is........'How the Free Market System Works'. Free people don't risk huge amounts of capital or even waste time and energy to develop a marketable product until........'the time is right'.
Extraordinarily complex principle for most people to grasp but that's the way OUR free mkt. system works. As long as there is cheap oil/energy WHY ON EARTH WOULD AN INTELLIGENT PERSON OR PERSONS SPENDS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS DEVELOPING A PRODUCT THAT ALREADY EXIST!!!
Won't they all be surprised when ACME Corp. announces a new cheap energy source JUST when it is needed. Now, if we buy into the Global Warming scam, Kyoto, etc. maybe we won't have the capital or means to bring this product, that only a free society could produce, to market.
I smell a rat. Do all America hating Socialist like Gore smell like rats? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
