Looks like he sold it to someone, and has now stamped out another one! Heard he sold the last one for $16,000.00!

Called the FBI and Attorney General's office. Apparently, they don't care. Thought the FBI was gonna pick it up, but no.

If I ever became a criminal, this is how I would do it.

Nope. He pulled it at 16k+ to sell to the high bidder.
This is the auction
Old LS6 Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AME WA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=280074617324&rd=1,1)

And this is the reason:
"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

Based off of my experience, the purchaser did not get a whole firewall, just some restamped metal tags.

Now he can sell it all over again, and stamp some new tags......

Easy Money...... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Can someone tell me what kind of idiot would bid on this in the first place?? I could see people bidding if the car had REAL documents, but its just a cowl and a motor and trans.. Everyone know there are guy that can stamp a motor so know one can tell and Im sure if you hunted around you could find a chevelle convert cowl for $500 if you wanted it for some un-godly reason.. The only thing I see of value is the Motor and trans.. I dont think you'll see anyone restoring/reboding this car unless theyve smoked way to much crack back in the day and have been dropped on there head also.. Some guy restoring a date LS6 will want that Motor and trans.

If you read the new auction description he added this at the end: The firewall pictured is not the actual firewall but all the other parts pictured are the actual parts included.

A clever and talented idiot could cob it together, call it real, and roll it across the block in Scottsdale on live TV and maybe make a few bucks. Stranger things have happened, right?

And, it's:
"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

Looks like that is $31,200.00 in two weeks in scammed restamped parts.
