There has been much talk about the 1969 rare early production SS/COPO/Yenko rolled tips. I have seen a few outfits try and duplicate them....but for whatever reason just did not get them right. The main reason for the extinction of these rolled tip was that they captured moisture and rusted away quite quickly. Most 1969 Chevelle owners would agree that it was a much better looking...muscular exhaust tip than the non-rolled tip.
I have teamed up with a great fabricator and are reproducing them out of high quality 304 stainless steal. They are exact demensions of the originals.
If any of you are interested in purchasing a set for your restoration needs...you can contact me at....
[email protected].
The price is $375.00 per set plus shipping. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. The originals also had a small 9/32`s drain hole at the bottom side to allow for moisture drainage. This drainage hole can be added to what ever size needed.
Here a few pictures...

Rainer,
No problem....Good idea. It`s bad weather here today....give me a few days. I`ve got some snow to shovel....and then I`ll dig out an original rolled tip for comparison.

Albert,
You could look at it like this.....either you buy yourself some really good vodka...or a set of these Rolled Tips http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
They really would look great on your car...but I understand your COPO is the real deal you don`t need anyone telling you different.

What would be too late of a build date. Have a 03B built 69 Chevelle with factory chambered exhaust.
Thanks,
The "MOF"
I think someone had previously posted a cutoff date of April/May '69 in some plants--I had them on my chevelle-build date--5/22/69-Framingham plant........

Bruce,
Unfortunately I just sold my last set to Helmut. Perhaps we could make another run of them, but I would need a large order.

Maybe there is more 69 Chevelle owners here looking to fill an order besides me.
Didn't George Lyons reproduce some as well?

Nice tips, nice color, my car is a 11E on the cowl tag , build sheet reads 12/6. It has an incorrect exhaust installed in 89 so I'll be going with the Gardner exhaust and some rolled tips when I find a pair.
Thanks

Bruce, I am interested in the rolled tips as well, if you find a lead please let me know. I agree with your assessment of the set currently on ebay..
Dan, what size order would be needed to get some done and what would be the price per set? example, if the price is $300-$400, I would be in for an order of 4 sets....not sure if that would help get the ball rolling to get some done. I'd bet others might be interested if they were available.
If any leads arise I would like to get the word...thanks guys. take it easy, Andy
