Seems like I remember a magazine article done on this car or one very similar back in the early 80's. I am sure I still have it somewhere.

I think that is one wild ride and worth more than mentioned to the right guy.

Charley,
Where did they get the 12 bolt for the car? With the ears on the center section it looks like they might have used one out of a Chevelle.

I know that the 1970 Camaro 12 bolt uses the same axles as the Chevelle so they must be approx the same width.

Interesting car to say the least.

It is a Chevelle rear.

Charley was teased about the Barbers chair on the back, so I guess it's my turn. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The car is like any other Motion car.....it's outrageous.

You would be hard pressed to find an original Motion car with the original invoices, kida cool.

My space is limited right now and I'm leaving on a trip to bring more cars home so something has to go. I gave some cars to a broker and we will see what sells.

The price is north of $100K

There was an error in the listing.

From the e-bay auction text:
"This Particular Black Beauty is believed to be the last Camaro that Motion Performance modified before the company closed the doors. We all know now that they are now back in business with one of their first cars to be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson auction this weekend".

I think the above wording was taken directly from the previous e-bay auction that originally ran 13 months ago when Rosen was at BJ with the new BM camaro.

It's also not the last Camaro Motion built if it was done in 82.. Remember Joel also did a couple 83s.

The shifter was changed out years ago by I think the orig owner. I think you are looking at a magazine pic from long ago.

not sure where the pic is from. but I've had it a long time. Kinda like the pisol grip look in that car http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The checkerboard on the outline of the pic makes me think it was me taking a pic of a pic on my desk.

I'm curious how the supercar community feels about this car versus the Yenko Turbo Z on Ebay right now.

What car would you rather own?

The Seller had Honest Pictures of the car and Great Paperwork.
I was comping the car with the 80 YENKO at Russo Steele and what it Sold for. I felt the YENKO was worth more than the Motion (condition and the YENKO was done when the car was New)
It would be nice to see someone buy this MOTION and take it to the next level, would be a neat car.

I agree Mark, a very cool day 2 Motion car, but I'd still prefer a day 1 Yenko.
