Hey there, I was refered to this site from the HAMB. I was told that someone might be able to provide some info about Wohl's Service Center in Brooklyn NY. I would love to find out more about the place and maybe get in touch with Mr. Wohl if he is still with us. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks, I'll send him a PM.
It sounds familiar, but I just can't place the area. Tomorrow I'll call a couple of my buddies who have owned service stations for 30+ years for any input............

It's actually a '39 Standard. I bought it from a guy in NJ. It was once owned by Mr. Wohl and I heard it was built for his daughter. It's got an early 'Vette motor thats hooked to the original three speed/banjo. It sat for years in a wharehouse and really hasnt been touched for 35+ years. Heres some pics:

HAHAHA.......thanks. I was kind of worried about posting on this site. Sometimes guys arent so accepting of cars that arent just like theirs. It's good to know that some people out there arent so closed minded.

The wheels/tires that are on it in the pic were taken off my '39 pickup. The ones that are on the car now are similar but slightly different. I have also replaced those nasty looking aftermarket headlights with some stock repops from Bob Drake. When we get some decent weather around here I'll get an updated pic for you guys.
