I have a 69 camaro that has a x44 code but it has a big block heater core, and by the looks of it has never been out of the car, it has big block motor mounts, and the cowl hood stuff on the fire wall. body # is NOR142833, the car was tracked back to 1979 in mansfield Ohio. Any help would be great ,thank you all. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That looks to be a real late car with that NOR number. Can you post pictures of it so we can make sure it's real. Also, what's the partial VIN and the rest of the trim tag information? Does the car have the BE 12 bolt rear?

Could be, it has the indicators for a COPO, but with the drivetrain gone, it's a tough one to prove.
Auto car, right?
