Anybody have a good close-up picture of one mounted to the intake?
As always, much obliged. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Here you go. The Carolina Blue Z. Funny I don't remember it being that roomy for it on the one I installed. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Darren;
Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Just to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, it appears that the coil bracket doesn't sit quite "flush" on the intake bolt bosses, correct?

I've seen the coil mounted to the firewall on quite a few crossram cars. Wayne Guinn's book shows the coil wire going to a firewall mounted coil on the GM 68 Z28 test car.

Correct, there's a ridge there..
Like Jeff said on the firewall, the intake. Anywhere it will fit basically. There were no instructions on where to place it. The one I did ended up in around the same spot on the intake as in the picture. But like I said it was kinda tight...

I have a wide base air cleaner on mine and the vertical position will not work.....I modified an aftermarket bracket and mounted mine horizontal and it is kinda hidden under the air cleaner....looks very clean.
