Are you guys, Rob, Tom, Ray, etc ok? Anyone heard from them? Tornadoes hit early this morning in Caulfield, MO just southwest of West Plains and Alton. A 7 year old girl was killed. Just making sure you guys are ok.

Meanwhile we are getting major pooped on with snow. Over a foot last weekend and well on our way to another 1' plus the next two days. I think it is making up for the lack of snow the rest of the season.

Once again we were lucky as everything but the rain missed us by a few miles.

Good to hear that! Just talked with Annie and we were disconnected. Thought maybe something had happened but she called right back and everything's OK. Heard from Schonye this morning and sounds like he's having a rough time. Ice and winds have caused all kinds of trouble. He's OK but has his hands full keeping the town in operation.
Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado warnings all over our area. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

Stay safe everyone!!!!

That little girl and her family had just gotten in the truck to leave for school when the twister hit...they tried to run back to the trailer to get in the bath tub, but everything went bad. They released her 2 brothers (8 & 10) but her mother & father are in seperate hospitals in critical condition. The tornadoes went to the north and then south of us, with one of them pogo-ing over Thomasville (10 miles north) where my in-laws live...it as scary, as this all took place around 7am, and since we have the largest school district in the state (area-wise) lots and lots of kids get on the bus before 6am...imagine putting your kid on the bus, then leaving for work, and then hearing of a local tornado outbreak...the Fairview elementary school got hit, but thank goodness it was too early for the majority of folks to be there.

And I just now saw on the news where a high school in Alabama got rocked with several fatalaties...lots of prayers needed all over the country, folks... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
