I need the lower control arm bumpers for my 1970 Z/28.These are the shorter rubber ones that bolt through the aluminum spacer on the lower control arm.
I can find the larger ones found on non-Z/28's but not they are not correct.
They will have a longer stud and a little tab that goes into the spacer.

Thanks

Rick, I'm thinking that rubber bumpers with sane sloped side are correct.......Please comment

Chuck,
I believe the ones you show in the top picture are not correct. I'll check what is left of mine in the morning.

Here is one from my 70 Z-28. To my knowledge, it has never been off the car.

Should I go to my magic GM parts counter again? LOL!

Like all this 70 Camaro tech talk here lately. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Just went out and looked at mine and this is the best of the two.

Anyways, I need new or extremely nice used.

Paul,
Not saying it hasn't been replaced but on my computer it looks a lot newer then the rest of the car.

Can you get the part number off of it?

Checked both bumpers again and they most certainly have never been off. P/N on the bumper is 3983017. The car is an 03B LA built Z so I am not sure if the Norwood built cars used the same bumper. Chuck Sharin may have pics showing Jack's Survivor Norwood built Z-28's bumpers.

Mines an 06B Norwood car. They sure look different.
I just went through the pictures I have of Jack's car and didn't see any of the front suspension.

The part number Paul posted is what is called out in the assembly manual so that is what I am looking for. Thanks
