Allow me to preface by stating that I'm not trying to be a butt-inski here, but you might consider that those `66-`67 Chevelle 12 bolts are kinda difficult to find...it'd be kind of a shame to carve one up to fit something else.

Should Tom pass on it, would you mind shooting me the details on it?

Thanks. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Go with the 8.5" corp. 10 bolt rear from '72+ = plenty strong.

M, been looking into that idea...might be easier and less expensive....some guy on Steve's site builds a nice turn key unit for about $1100...all new parts ready to go...

Yep, for a FunRunner, it's becoming the economic way to go!

70-73 F rears are a different size than the 67-9 F and 70-72 X bodies...
427 King has a couple of extra 70 nova 12 bolts...

Wilma,
I might have M-21 for you. I am converting my wifes Camaro to an automatic. I have a deal pending now, but haven't heard back from the guy. If it falls through are you interested?

I have an M-21, 50,000 original miles, never been opened.
Out of the '74 Z28 show car we are converting to T56. We were planning to have it checked over by a qualified tranny guy and put it on Ebay.
Email me if interested [email protected]
