I just found an old '62 racer that had the late released Z-ll top half and aluminum panels. There's a Indy Nationals trophy in the trunk along with the original engine. Can't wait to start on the project, but I'm asking for volunteers to help me get it moved to my place. Any ideas??????

That tree has to be at least 25 years old. Somebody better
start the engine or the seals will get brittle & leak http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

Looks like a job for TREES OR US!I used to know where a 66 Nova was sitting about the same shape as the 62 but the tree was not that BIG growing through the Nova! That is a REAL TREE not a LARGE BUSH! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Glad everyone enjoyed my April Fool's joke. Speaking of trees and old cars, I was amazed by this photo a friend sent to me. He bought an old service garage that was in business since the '30s. When he cleaned out the brush around the building he found this. It's a '34 Terraplane that obviously hasn't moved in quite a LONG time.

He has since restored the entire building to use for his own projects and to invite car clubs for cruises, etc. He's leaving the Terraplane just as it is. It's now "part" of the property and it's history... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif How cool is that??? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

And I always thought wooden steering wheels were hand made--I didn't realize they were actually concieved by trees.....

Verne - sorry to pop your bubble, but that can't be a Z11 cause I don't think they ever came with "three on the tree". http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
