On a build sheet, since its a partial, what does the i think its box 6 says c60 box 7 says zj1 and box 7j2, any info, hard to make them out, thanks rob, also they made 350 ss cars with 10 bolts right?

All 69,70 Nova SS cars got 12 bolts, BB and SB, 4spd and Auto. Those are probably trim option codes on that partial build sheet. Marlin or Wilma should know

Thats what i thought, the car i am looking at has the badges, power brakes, but 10 bolt with multi leaf rear suspension.But on Novaresource.com they state that there where 10 bolt ss cars?

Sully is correct, the SS cars received 12 bolt rears for '69-'70, but the Posi was an extra cost option.
C60 = Air Conditioning (so that rules out a BB!)
ZJ1 = Custom Interior
ZJ2 = Custom Exterior

Well that sucks, was hopin this could be a real ss small block car, so would the multi leaf suspension been an up grade option, or did all 350's come with them?
ZJ1 = Interoir trim code
ZJ2 = Exterior trim code

Not sure if all 350's came with multi-leaf rears, but if the 10 bolt is original to the car, it would appear to not be an SS. Is there dual exhaust on the car? It's usually on the broadcast sheet, but that portion might be missing. Also, if the car is a '69, the engine code is usually on the sheet as well, or look for ZL3 for 'SS Conversion'.

Has dual exhaust, no half the build sheet is gone, only right side is left, shows paint code,interior code, and the interior-exterior codes, other half of sheet not to be found.

Also has protecto plate and the pre delivery service and adjustment sheet.

There are usually more than one sheet in a given car. The best place to look is in the rear seat - back portion. The sheet is frequently found wrapped around the seat frame under the cover - which requires the removal of several hog rings in order to pull it out in once piece. Maybe there's another sheet to be found? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Oh! If it has the protecto plate, then the engine suffix will tell you if it's an SS or not! Only the 300HP 350 was available in the SS, and it was not available in non-SS Novas.

Don't dismiss car because of the 10 bolt...wouldn't be the first time somebody broke a rear and used another one that was handy...check the axle stamp code...69 model year will have a 2 letter code.....the POP will tell the story...the L48 was SS only. Good luck....by the way, you mentioned power brakes...but are they disc..??? don't rule out build sheet in the front seat...I have found several there over the years...

Unlike the Camaro (L34 and L35), Air Conditioning was not available in a 396 Nova.
