CAR RAN good, DRIVER sucked!!! Made two passes 2,000 RPM foot braked it. Not used to reverse valve pattern ,shifted right into drive 150 ft out. Car ran 7:30 first easy pass. Then screwed up on the light 2nd pass had no times. Ran it hard thru felt like it's the fastest I have ever ran. I would guess 6:80 run. Didn't make anymore runs The motor started to miss. Here is a pic from Eddyville. A week ago friday. I couldn't figure out if the brakes were holding in the burn out or not look at the marks behind the front tires!! The brakes were holding the car was pushing the tires.

But I'd say your hunch is correct...a lot of the test 'n' tunes I've been to the track guys either send out there 'rookie' crew, or the main crew just wanna do as little as possible (ie, maintain water box)...and you're double screwed if it's a t'n't and there's a poor turnout!

Bill, I think if you take another look at the picture you'll see it's a photo of a photo, and the angle (probably to eliminate glare) has the rear of the car distorted.

As Kim said, we had a blast at KC.

We each got to make several passes, unfortuantly one was against each other, where Kim paid me back for St. Louis, whooping me pretty good. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Both cars were part of the special Legends display, along with Big Daddy, Larry Reyes, Roland Leong, Diane Sox and cars, etc. Both cars draw a lot of interest, but Kim's really got a lot of attention, due to the fact KCIR was Dick Harrell's home track.
