Scott always has nice cars. It just amazes me how he keeps finding them. If my Camaro ever sells he will probaly be one of the first people I will contact.

Scott, just a question on this car that would reflect ALL SS Nova's. I too have a '69 SS Nova, and with your car being virtually untouched since '69, I thought the side lovers were painted "body colour" with just a 1/4" or so tip of chrome exposed? Mine has the full chrome lovers like yours. Is that the way there are in '69? Just a question. Nice car BTW. Thanks, John http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Not that hard it was on Ebay a while back.If I didn't have a full plate It would have been in my garage-very original car that spent it's entire life in the San Joaquin valley think it was from Three Way Chevy in Bakersfield.Great color combo! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Yes u are correct i scored the car off e-bay awhile back the seller told me what he wanted for the car and we made a deal http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif 1 of the only times i was shocked http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif when the car was delivered as it was nicer than described.About the side louvers i have been asked that many times by a few nova guru,s and i don,t really know?I believe they were painted and since they were chrome underneath it didn,t stick very well http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif.I will post any pics u guys might want its a great car....thanks http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just want everyone to know that the paint on this car looks far better in the picture than it is...its california baked and 30 yrs of storage didn,t due it any favors...it needs paint bad to be a nice local show car . http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I bet someone thought it was cool to remove the paint on the chromed pot metal. I did it on the hood vents pf my 65 Riviera...

We have discussed the chrome vs nonchrome side vents. At Steves site in the past. There is a seperate part number for each application. The painted ones are chrome only on the edge. I think we decided the all chrome was part of a higher level of trim. This car has window and rocker molding. So that seems to fit the pattern. Earl

To all that have asked about possible trades etc answer yes id like to possibly trade up for the right car, i would like the car to be as solid as mine in #s ,body and docs but i think id be looking at a 6 figure + car then http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif as i like ls6,L78,z28,s etc so nice clean driver cars are perfered.thanks http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Earl, I remember that discussion on the side louvers. I tend to think you're right. That the different nbrs reflect paint, or unpainted, but I just don't remember seeing any from back in the day unpainted. Interesting. Maybe this one is the evidence for unpainted. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
