I'm looking for a nice driver quality or better Corvette Coupe for a friend of mine. Must very clean and preferably with original motor and docs. Any HP considered, but must be a 4 speed car. Please PM or email me with any leads. Thanks in advance http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

The last Driveline has a '67 Elkhart Blue/bright blue interior 300 HP, 4 speed coupe for sale. I judged this car (it's chassis) at Waco about three years ago and it's spectacular. It has original paperwork (tank sheet) from Yenko Chevrolet. The car is a Triple Crown and Duntov car.
I know the owner, he's in Gilroy, CA and wants $65,000 for the car. He may have some room as he's had it for sale for some time. I don't have the number with me, it's at home.
I'd love to own that one.

Still looking guys...I had a deal on a nice looking '67 L79 in Michigan, but when I had the car inspected, we found that the rear wheel lips were trimmed right off! Any leads on a nice car would really be appreciated! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Did you visit with the fellow in Gilroy, CA with the nice '67 coupe? I think that car is about as quality as you can get. It's a 300 HP 4 speed coupe and that's what I drive for fun. A wonderful combination. It may be that the $65,000 price is a bit scary, and I can understand that. I don't think you'll find much of a quality car for less than the mid 50's, though.

No Tim, I've never heard of a 300hp coupe selling in that price range and don't plan on being the first one to pay that http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I understand your feelings, if I hear of anything that is priced to move, I'll let you know.
