Quick question...what is the difference between the Packard ss550 wires and the ss560 wires??? Are there more types and what are their applications? - Thanks Guys!

Some of the orange Delco wires have stainless steel conductor.
Others have anti-static supression core.
Dont remember which # is which. Delco sold the orange wire sets in direct fit and "cut to fit" sets, also in 100' spools.

I have had four different versions of the SS550 stainless core wires over the years. Seems to have to do with the dates they were produced.
The early ones I have had were orange with orange boots and no dates, then there seemed to be orange with orange boots dated like 78/79 vintage and then finally orange with gray boots dated and non dated.
