I always keep my eyes peeled for locations that are really well suited to shoot old cars. I see so many pics of great cars sitting in grass or on shiny tile floors that I really appreciate seeing one shot in it's "natural habitat." This old garage is just a mile or so from my home, so I have no excuse for not shooting there sooner. Anyone else got any cool pics they've shot at any particularly cool locales? I'd love to find more places like this in PA. Thought you guys might appreciate.

Terrific idea!
What a great shot - the old time setting really sets off a fantastic looking car -
Love the lights on look!

I agree. Great idea and what a cool setting. I will check out some local areas to me as well. Now all I need is something to shoot in them. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Very cool pic. I took this one at the Boardwalk Casino here in Santa Cruz today. The boardwalk and the Casino are celebrating their 100 year aniversary this year. Safe to say the Casino was the in 1968.

We have a restored B-A gas station not too far away and it makes a great back drop for the old cars. A lot of people stop there, while our for Sunday afternoon cruise, to take pictures of their old cars.

Check out Chester, Marcus Hook area by the refineries... Many of great old buildings to take pictures from.
That shot looks like something from the Otis Chandler book, great shot. I'll be on the beach boardwalk in Santa Cruz in a month or so. We had fun going there when the kids were growing up.
