Can anyone provide some insight as to the approximate year of the Chevrolet OK license plate currently on e-bay. The item number is 220117161610. The seller states it is 1960s vintage but I have my doubts... Thanks... Rich

No problem Rich. I have learned alot about posting stuff since becoming a member here. Just copy the web address that you want to link to, click on "URL" under the "Instant UBB Code" heading while you are creating your message and paste the web address into the block provided then click "OK". It will then show "web page" higlighted in blue. Just type over this what you want to call the link (I typed in "OK plate" above). Click "OK" again and it will look like a bunch of gobble-gook is pasted into the post you are creating.
What part of OH are you from?

Rich,
Sometimes the guys are a bit bashful around here to express their opinions about things like you asked http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif . I'll bet before too long one of the fellows will chime in. BTW, I grew up in Canfield. Good to have another "Buckeye" in our midst. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

based on the large screw hole slots, I'll guess early 70's.
1970 maybe, http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif 60's....mmmmmm not likely.
actually would look good on any 60's or early 70's Chevy (it's a used car plate, right?)

I remember my Grandmother had a Chevrolet OK used car dealer down the block from her in the fifties.
Chevrolet was one of the first to offer cars that were inspected and reconditioned for performance, safety and value. You got a written warranty backed by a Chevrolet dealer.
