Just going threw some pictures on hotrodhotline and there was a show in Corinth NY, north from me about an hour away! I seen pictures of this green yenko nova. I have been going to shows all over my area and I have never seen this car. I have a friend that was driving threw Corinth about a year ago and asked me if they had made a yenko nova. He said he seen what looked like one in corinth. Maybe the same car! Just wondering if it is real and has anyone ever seen it. Not even sure if the yenko nova was avaliable in this color green. It could just be a clone.

I'm not aware of a green deuce in that area, but anything is possible. Per the pics, the car should have power disc brakes, an alum intake - and by all means a fan shroud! On the surface, it looks like a clone - even though the license plate looks cool.

Just looked at the photos in your link and yeah, that does look like a real '70 Yenko Deuce. But I gotta tell ya' I had a lot of trouble peeling my eyes away from that PT Cruiser Woody and its accompaning beach/stuffed animal display. Like a bad car accident, I wanted to look away but I just couldn't.

What makes you believe that it's a real deuce? I am on the other side of the fence, I'm thinking it's a clone. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Are the stripes really that far off? I know you guys are the experts on these Deuces and I am probably wrong (i was just mesmerized by that PT cruiser) but it does appear to have a hood tach by the wires coming down the back of the hood and is that the correct air cleaner or not? Sorry about my haste about thinking it was real, but I thought I remember a post about a siminlar green Deuce Day-2ed with atickers on the bottom of the trunk lid like this one.

With an engine compartment like that, those trophies in the trunk must be from LONG ago. Looks like the air cleaner might be the only quasi-correct thing under the hood. BCD

Wouldn't a REAL Yenko Deuce have POWER Disc brakes
...with a power booster?

Yes. While it is difficult to see the hood stripes, they look pretty far out on the edges. I don't think I've ever seen even a clone with the tailpan stripes that far apart. No two are the same, but those are really wide.
Next time you run across something like this , write down the vin and check it with what's listed here. Not all are here, but it's worth a shot. Cause the bottom line is, unless you check, you'll never know for sure.

Well guys like I said I have never seen this car before. On the windshield he has what looks like Adirondack National stickers. This is a big show in Lake George NY. I have never been. I was hoping someone from north of me might know some more about it. If I find out anything I will let everyone know and yes if I see the car I will get the vin.
