I recall about a half-dozen '69 Nova taxis sitting in a Madison WI junkyard in the mid-'70s. Probably all COPOs.
The COPO process was developed for police cars, taxis, any fleet order specifying non-RPO equipment.
There were probably hundreds of "COPO" '69 Novas.
