Might not need it but it makes the exhaust smell good.

The Camaro looks great! It's funny on the pump how they changed the label from "race" to "trick".

I love the smell of race gasoline...there's even some in my lawn mower now...the neighbor asked why it smelled that way http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW, I buy my race gas the easy way...

Hey Bruce, get me one of those empty cans! It'd make great garage art. What octane are you running and is it leaded?

Yea, what size is that? How much? Where can I get it? Octane? Lead? Winning lotto #s?

I'm debating putting these TT's on the Camaro with a set of Diamondback redline radials. The 15x8 on the right just came back from the resto shop (pair). 15x7 on the left and 15x6 just out of the photo to the left (pair of each). Gotta' love original 1960s TTs.

Those sure are purdy rims...if you decide you don't want'm...I'm interested!

Oh yeah...here up Nort, they won't legally allow you to fill your car with racing gas - it has to be put into a container...what a bummer...

Is that pump located at the Renton airport?
Details PM me

The TT’s will look great on the car as well. Nice to have 2 sets of rolling stock.
The spoke must clear the disc brakes?

My '67 is a drum car so no caliper clearance issues. I think they'll fit disc cars though.

Hey...I happen to have an empty one...lol. Yes, it IS leaded (for off road use only http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

It's 114 octane...and I mix with the premium that's already in there. I get it from work http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif...it's 5 gallons and around $30.00.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I agree. The wheels look great, the car is super and they'll be even better as a package. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Can't wait 'til SCR X so I can buy some "Cheap" race fuel. $3.29/Gal for run-o-the-mill street stuff makes race fuel seem like a bargain! Like Bruce, I ran a little in the Cub tractor a couple of weeks ago. I usually hate mowing but something was different that day. Made me http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif a bunch. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

$6.25 is a little high for a street car. Imagine the look on my face a couple years ago when I went to pick up my car and the builder said, "Oh, by the way you'll be running 110 octane race gas from now on." After a few days of that I replied, "Like Hell I am!"

I only put the 101 in once in a while just for the hell of it. I'd go broke if I needed the stuff.

Same race fuel (NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE) laws in NY. Park the car on the side and use 5gal cans. Attendants WILL NOT let you pump directly into any vehicle you drive in. (tow or trailer OK) Havent seen the prices since last fall, nearest is about 40 minutes from me.

There is a gas station on Hempstead Ave 1 block south of the Southern State Parkway that has been selling Cam 2 (Sunoco Race Fuels)
104 unleaded/110 leaded for over 20 years -
Was in NY over the weekend, $7.99 & $8.99 a gallon!
