Sounds good, but how about a little modern GM muscle? LS1 6 speed Z28, heads/cam forged rotating assembly and a dry sump oiling system. 8800 rpm power shifts. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif It doesn't pull a wheel stand but listen to the launch rpm http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://video.ls1tech.com/search/T56Rebuilds/0/d695fb5f-d81b-4f6b-95fc-98c700ceb9d8.htm
However, I have seen this car run in person when traction was no issue, and lets just say it was on the back bumper for about 20 feet. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Eric, who owns that car?

There is a guy here locally who bracket races with a car painted similar to that.
His is a 69 Camaro.
