I know I have not been around for a while but I have been busy with life in general and trying to get my $hit together. Some decisions have forced me to sell my Chevelle. I am NOT doing this to buy another car or anything like that. After this there will be no more cars for me for the foreseeable future.

This car is straight up. There is NOTHING wrong with it and like all of my cars could be driven to California and back without any mechanical failure. This car is a real SS and I do have a NICB on the car however, the car does not have any paper or it's original motor. It is what it is. A super nice driver with no issues or excuses and it is priced accordingly. I am super easy to deal with and for anybody that knows me as honest as they come.

The car is priced at $35,000 which is EXACTLY what I have in it. All receipts for what I have done (along with what the previous owner has done) come with the car. I have never sold a car and not made money on it in my life but I need to sell this car soon.

Here is a link to info and photos of the car.

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat...e=2&fpart=1 (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=rides&Number=220592&page= 2&fpart=1)

Since then the car has gotten a new/restored and correct master cylinder and brake booster as well as some cosmetic issues under the hood straightened out. I DO have the original wheels and new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires that go with the car. The Cragers and tires on the car DO NOT come with it. I also have the factory valve covers as well which would be reinstalled with the wheels and tires.

I prefer calls to e-mails.

Serious inquires only call Frank at 708-257-8539

Frank,

Sad to see you having to sell your car.....and even more so, leaving the hobby...but I can understand.

Frank`s car is indeed a great Chevelle and a very nice color combo. At that price....she`ll be gone soon.

Good Luck...Frank.

Dan.

Frank,
I hope all is well and nothing major is happening in your life. I think we all can agree that we hate to see you sell the car and hopefully you are in fact not getting out of the hobby. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Frank

That is a great deal on a great car. I wish I could have kept that car, but at the time back then money was a little short. Good luck.

Thanks Randy. The car has changed a lot since you last saw it. Between Gene and I we spent about $10,000 making it better.

Randy, did you ever look for a build sheet on this car? I never did because I figured that someone like you would have, I know for sure that Gene did not.

Rick Nelson, is Flint a factory that build sheets were common?

I am surprised that someone has not bought this car yet. I guess the right guy has not seen it yet. I know for one thing after 10 years in the car business. There is an a$$ for every seat. I relisted it on e-bay just for the purpose of advertising. That is all e-bay seems to be good for these days when it comes to car sales.

Frank,
Sad to say, Flint is one plant that I never see build sheets from. Still a great car regardless and those wheels really set it off as well. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Beautiful piece, and a stand-up guy who has his head on straight.

Best Wishes my friend. If I had the cash I'd snap it up in a minute. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I talked to Gene a while back and he told me of the upgrades and that he sold it to you.
I never worried about a build sheet or docs when I bought it. It was such as nice car, it was a moot point.
Here's what I can tell you- everything is there to indicate true SS. As I remember, the engine, although not original, is date correct.

You should bring it to Mundelein tonight. With the good weather, there will be about 550- 600 cars. Look me up. I'm always in the sponsor's section on Park ST. I park right next to the alley by Abernathy's. I'll have a white '66 Lemans convertible.

Berwyn Bungalows? Frank has sent me some pix of their house and the work they've done. The 'kid' does pretty good work around the house too.

45 and 176. Easy and close to you. It's one of the best and most peaceful cruises around. No parking hassles- they have club members, village employees, and police on hand all over the place. Food, fun, and a lot of nice cars. I have been a sponsor since the inception- it's my favorite cruise. Bring the Chevelle and stick a for sale sign in it.
