Better known as David Lindsley. He made the cover of the most current issue (August) of Hemmings Muscle Machines...on the right is his 69 Z28...with Dave behind the wheel.

Here's the cover shot of my newely delivered copy. BTW, Dave is one of the most sincere and friendly guys you could ever meet. He took time out of his busy day when I was in SoCal last fall...to show me some of his cars (this one included). All kidding aside.. I have to agree with Bruce 100%.. Dave is one of the nicest and kindest people I know... a True Car Guy!! I had the pleasure this past February of spending a week with Dave and his lovely wife on the other side of the map! They treated me like one of the family. Dave showed me a great time, car shows and cruises and some nice cars stashed here and there.. even a real purty 66 SS L-78!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif and sitting right next to it was this Blue Camaro, a treasure if you ever saw one!! I'm Z28DL and wanted to thank everyone for the kind words about the car/article. I was just wondering who that old guy is driving my car???? Anyway I've been visiting this site everyday since almost the beginning. I have to say I really enjoy it and the information that is shared and exchanged between the members and non-members. This site and others like it will help to keep this hobby that we all love alive. I've been lurking for years but as you can see I have started to participate on site and plan to continue to do so. Once you get me going you'll never be able to shut me up! Keep up the great job.

Nice cover shot! Dave and I live near each other and I have had the pleasure of cruising car shows with him and actually having a few marathon trade deals for cars. He is a great ambassador for the hobby and is truly a car nut like most of us. That Z28 is mint, I have seen it at Super Chevy in the Gold Class display. A car that nice with paperwork is nice to have. I am glad to see that your friend left the hood original with the warp on his Mopar. Most people have them straightened out.
