I am finishing up a 1968 Z28 that was purchased at Selman Chevrolet in Orange California originally. What i am in need of is the small dealership plate that was scwewed to the rear tail panel back in the day. I had the original but it was lost during the restoration process. Problem is the holes were left in the rear tail panel for it to be reattached. Any help will be compensated for.

If you haven't tried them already, since they're still in business it may be worth contacting them first and see if they happen to have any of the correct era ones still around?.
Make sure to ask about old files/documents too!.

I lived about a mile from Selman before I moved to AZ....there are at the intersection of Tustin Ave and Chapman Ave in Orange.
I don't think I've ever seeen a dealer badge on any of their cars...other than a license plate frame???

I have a Selman Chevrolet from Orange CA license plate frame thats in decent condition. I would rechrome if for a show car as the qualilty of the chrome on these originally was substandard. PM me if interested. Over the last 2 decades I have amassed several SO Cal frames. So I would like to see some of the not needed frames go to members of this site before listing them in other avenues. I did a NCRS on my car and verified its origin so I will be selling some of the ones I collected over the years.
