Hello,
Thought I would share my good fortune. I Found a 1971 Z-28 Project and bought it today. It Is Going to take some time and money. I had sold my 1970 Z-28 About 10 Years ago And have regretted Heavily. This one is not Going to be leaving My Grasp.

Trying to Load some pics But Having some trouble? Car I Had Was in Montana last I had Known. This Car Is Missing Engine and Transmission. It Still has 8000 RPM Tach, Floor Mounted Gas Pedal,Lower A-arm Spacers, Cowl Tag(NORWOOD STAMPED Z.28.11)Rear Bumperettes, Motor Stands Original 10 Bolt 3:73 Posi. I know One Of The Previous Owners Who pulled Original Engine Years Ago And replaced it with a 1970 Corvette LT-1( He Still has That Engine). You Can Probably figure out where that Is Heading???

That's great http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Have fun with it! Are we going after the original look or more of a street machine?
Here are a couple of shots of our '73Z and '76LT, both 4 speed cars http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I though 150 MPH speedo's were 70 only, maybe I'm wrong.

71 had the 150 mph speedo too.

Looks like the same colour as my 71 I sold in 77.

Thanx, I looked an LA built 4 speed datona yello 70 or 71 Z28 basket case a couple of weeks ago, with low back seats (70) and a 10 bolt (not 70). I decided it was a 70 because of the 150mph speedo and 8K tach, so maybe it was a 71 afterall. All the owner knew was that it was worth at least $1800 because someone in florida offerd that to him for the vin and Trim tags. he even said I could come get the rest of the car for free after he sold the pedigree. Suffice to say I didn't tell him how to find a build sheet.
My little thread-jack here is not about the 71 Z28 project car from the start of this thread, just to clarify.
