Colin, I think this needs to be next the original Gee-TO Tiger in your collection. The official 1965 Bonneville Hurst gold wagon:

Neat car. What motor would that me? Can't tell from ad. Does not appear to have been any optional engine selected.

Maybe a 389 but probably a 326. Neat car.

A 325hp/389 is the standard Bonneville motor for '65/'66, according to my resources. I'm surprised it doesn't have a 421 with that list of options. Super cool wagon!

I agree with Tom, I don't think the 326 came in any full size 66 Pontiac, only the Tempests.

is the seller trying to show how waterproof the wagon is?

I wondered the same thing??? I always concerns me when someone cleans a car that has been in storage by simply opening the doors and spraying it down with water. Looks like the front carpet and console are also wet. That is a lot of water to let stand in carpet.

Yep, hose it out and order a fake window sticker for it. That'll help it bring top dollar http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Way cool piece nonetheless. I, too, am surprised it doesn't sport a 421. Present condition is way beyond the time/money/skill/patience I would have for the project, however.

That's a PHS repo sticker, by the notes on the letter from PHS it appears that the color was unknown. The seller must have the PHS doc as well as other documentation. Looks like a cool car if that is what you are looking for

Well the auction was ended early. Did anyone from here buy the car????
