I thought 68 Nova SS still had the 138 VIN? Or am I incorrect? Nice looking car.

That was the Chevelle, not Nova. I agree, that is a nice looking car.

Can anyone decipher the Fisher Body Tag date on this car? The given sequence number is not far ahead of the building of the Gibb cars as listed on this site.

Nice Car. Looks like a radio delete Nova as well (antenna delete anyway) Some more photos would have been nice especially of the trim tag...

...only 667 were made in 1968. When is the last time you saw a documented, original driveline 68 L78 Nova, other than the Gibb cars..??? If it is the real deal and has documentation they don't need Ebay to sell it...especially in that color.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif

Greg, I believe that it should either be 06C or as you say 06D, also? The sequence number listed is about 4,000 ahead of the first of the Gibb Nova's, in which approximately that same differential exists from the first to the last of the 50 in a matter of 2 weeks time.

06D was just a rough guess, it could be either 06C or 06D.
I wonder where the car will show up next?
