68 Dana on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AME WA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270146734897&rd=1,1)

If you look close at the pic with the license plate, there is a heartbeat city reciept.

Any thoughts?

Think this car was on ebay a couple months ago. Nice resto. Dana docs? I didn't see any. More info needed.

FYI....had someone on this board check out one of their other cars for me recently....it wasn't what it was touted to be....not that this car might not be.

Name on the late 70's registration is "Mary Lou Arredondo" who, after a little sleuthing, appears to be deceased. Her husband Frank Arredondo Sr and daughter Betty Justice might still be in the Carlsbad CA directory if anyone really wants to follow up to see if they remember the car.

Interesting that the listing claims all Dana cars had the special hood, but the car in the photos has what appears to be a stock hood?

Is that a 67Z cowl induction setup?

The license plate bracket comes from The Detail Shop not Heartbeat. I have a pair on my car. Joe Sikora is the guy who sells them.

Yea, I noticed that as well. I think the plenum air intake came on some 67's and 68's Z's and was pretty rare on them as well.

Not all the DANA cars got the hood. Some left with the SS hood as well. its all what you wanted to pay to have the car your way. Have to remember just like Yenko, DANA was a dealership and i would bet its a car sold off the lot if its from DANA at all

I love that cowl plenum induction setup! Wish I had one
for my car...... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drool.gif

BTW, was that setup even on the books for the '69 model year?
Especially before the ZL/2 hood came into production 1/69.
