After a lot of soul searching I have decided to sell me 71 Judge. It is Starlight black with an ivory interior. It is numbers matching and has all of it born with components, the engine, transmission, heads, intake, distributor, carb, rear, exhaust manifolds are all present. The starter was changed years ago. The interior is 100% all original and in excellent condition showing minimum wear. This Judge is wearing most of it's original paint ( around 50-60%). It has had some work in the lower quarters. The trunk, floors and frame are in excellent condition and has minimum under coating. You can see the spot welds and seams from the factory. This is a survivor type car that you can enjoy as it is at local shows and cruise nights or popular vote classes or you can restore it and really make it a truly incredible car. It has some very minor parking lot dings but it is truly a very straight car. They have only accounted for less then a handful of black 71 Judges and this is the only one to have an ivory interior. The original spare is in the trunk and has never been on the ground.

This car has it's buildsheet, original owners manual, many receipts from previous owners and PHS documents to support the original documentation. I have the receipts from the used car dealership where it was traded in to show when the incorrect green stripes were applied in 1975. That is also when the period handpainted stripes were applied. The receipts also show when the work in the quarters were done.

I have spoked to the original owner and will provide that contact information to the buyer.

The car comes with NOS exhaust tips, correct NOS Judge stripes, the mint original and correct steering wheel.

This is an opportunity to own a 71 455HO Judge with documentation and one that is numbers matching. I am asking $69,800 or best offer.

Please feel free to call me at

Thanks SYC for the ad !!

Mike,

Boy Mike you have some nice cars! Very nice Judge. Great colors. What is the story on the "Gillette" tires? Haven't seen those. They appear to be original bias plies.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes they are original Bias plys installed by the second owner, I have the receipt for the tires. They are in great condition and have no dry rot at all.

Brings back memories of the Summer of 1970 in Orange, Connecticut, when I was at summer camp and one of the counselors use to drive his brand-new 70 GTO, Starlight black with red interior and an rear wing, each day and park it out front. I still want that car. It was just evil looking with the red gut.

Sam, back in the '70's, Gillette tires were pretty common in the Western/upstate NY area. I believe that's where this car came from...a good friend of mine had Gillette M50's on the back of his 442 4sp 'vert. Heck, I think I have a picture of this car stashed away somewhere.

I'm very surprised that this car hasn't sold yet...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Thanks for the tire info Mike. Good looking and unusual tires. I passed this "for sale" ad to some Goat Boys out here in the valley. Good luck (other) Mike!

Congrats on the sale! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif Now when you gonna show up at the Hooters cruise night again? They had the portable dyno and the Hooters dunk tank last month! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif Oh yeah, there were some nice musclecars too. They've really managed to weed out the newer imports this year so it's much better.

Mike, I see you have a new car in the stable...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
I really wanted the '71 but my '72 is going through a 'freshining up' and I would have had to move it for your car.

Congrats on the sale and the new ride.

Yeah, the challenge though is to find some T3s among all those "modified" models! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Ain't nothing wrong with modified as long as it's not overdone.
