Folks -
I've got several cars and would like to create a website with pictures and descriptions of all. They aren't for sale, but folks are always asking for pictures, asking me what parts I'm looking for, etc, and thought it would just be easier to have it all hung somewhere on the web.
However, I'm not familiar with how to do this, how much it would cost, what is the best way to go about it, etc, and figured some of y'all have already figured out how to skin this cat, so if you've got any tips, info, advice, etc, please post it.
Thanks in advance for any info,
Scott

the best things in life are free....sometimes.
here is an example of free posting that is easy to edit and post pictures. you can also choose to receive comments and have them posted or keep them private.
here is a site I put together last year.

If I can do this, anyone can !!

Christopher,
That is some project you have going there. Will have to "stop in" from time to time to see your progress. I see you are putting the skills you learned at Motion to good use, albeit in a new and interesting direction.

Scott,
On a very simple level you can also (for free) set up a WEBSHOTS (http://www.webshots.com/) account which will allow you to post pix AND write detailled info about each picture. I use this for my Chevelle (http://rides.webshots.com/album/548120177WKsHRu). I set up separate albums for my exterior, interior, engine, documentation, etc.

Actually the car and the work is not mine (just the photos), it is a friend of mine who turned 80 years old last year. I will visit him this week and update you on his car.

Chris,
From one squid to another, your friend has talent. Tell him I'm impressed. Good on him!!
