I am sorta looking for another car. I keep reading where prices are down and the "market" for them is down. Can anybody show me some of the great deals out there, cause I ain't seeing them. Thanks.

Tony, You are 100% right. People are afraid to buy only because they "hear" the market is down. For those of us looking for deals due the market being "down", there are none. Go figure.

The 66 SS I have listed in the FOR SALE area is a DEAL!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

and Frankly, it depends on what you are looking for.. what's a deal to one guy is not to another... Driver car or Show car... Numbers Car or NON numbers car... all depends on what you are looking for IMO.

Qulaity cars will always bring top dollar IMO.. throw in numbers and docs to a quality car and you may not get a deal.. but sometimes.. just sometimes.. esp. if the owner is cashin out.. you may still get a deal on one of those cars.

Just opinions of course

You can get some great deals on cars that have issues and if your calling on cars that have Pedigree, I wish you luck..

The prices on some of the Hemi cars and mid-year vettes have gone a bit soft in the last year or so.

I can see two examples for sale on this site right now:

1. The 1968 Impala SS427 car for 12.5 running driving project, #'s match

2. The MacNeish certified 70 L78 project for 12.5 w/o drivetrain.

Wish I had the space!
