This is one of 602 made original 67 Z/28 that has been on the Z/28 registry for at least fifteen years. Cowl tag has never been off the car. The car needs everything in my opinion and still retains some original paint. I have a correct dated motor for the original is long gone as most of these cars do. This is a bare bones Z/28 that is radio delete, cowl plenum, no power steering and a 488 12 bolt rearend. I have alot of rare and hard to find parts that come with the car, like the correct clutch and fan, disributor, dated 3910 carb, small hole water pump, DF rims, Mint 15x6 Trim Rings with outter clips and much much more. I also have a complete NOS front end, NOS rear quarters, tubs and left / right used Arizona rust free doors and three hole deck lid. Call for further details or pics.
I have to add a little about this car !!! I watched it as a kid as it was ordered new as a Race car. It was sold new at Shallcross Chevrolet in Middletown De. It has extensive race history and the original owner an engineer worked with Chevrolet in testing different combos in 67 and 68. I have the pictures of the car racing and more info. I owned this car several years ago and knew the family very well. The original owner just passed several months ago. He had a Chassis Dyno in his garage at home. The original engine went to Roland Leong (Of Hawaiian Fame) back in 1969 and he used it in a rail . Butternut Yellow, 4:88 gear and No Frills !!! with a boatload of history !!! Goodluck with the sale Dave !!!

Hey...sounds like it was a nice car in its day...radio delete, cowl plenum and 4.88's!! ....I have a near twin to it...Is it Capri Cream or is that butternut yellow? I wish I had the room...(and the cash) for another!!
Do you have any spare parts...I see you have a lot of the rare stuff that I'm still missing. Any duplicates?? Where in Pa are you?? I'm in Bucks County...30 mins North of Philly. Good Luck with the sale...I'd love to see it when its restored again..Thanks, Max

Hey there Marlin...are you from Bucks county too?? Its seemes most of the good cars are right here in Pa. Its a small world I guess...or I just dont get out!! Do I know you?? I dont get out to shows much, so it has probably been a while if we ever met. Sounds like you have a couple sweet Novas in your garage!! Always wanted a Duece..just never came across one that i could afford back in the day when I could afford one...(probably 20 years ago!!). The've gotten out of hand now...probably only a miracle..or the lottery will get me one now...hehehe...or , better yet, do you have any kids??? will you adopt me and write me in your will?? anyway, sure would like to see yours' someday...
and nuttin' wrong with an L-78 Nova either...and just in case you have only one son, i'll take that as a second choice,o.k....hehehe max
p.s... I do own a 63 vert. chevy II..."future" street/strip car......if that counts??

I grew up in B-County, Langhorne to be exact (west end, close to Trevose). I'm in Berks county now, as Bucks is pretty congested in the affordable areas, and too pricey in the open areas around Doylestown, etc... I bought the Deuce when I was single and sharing an apartment in Hatboro with a friend, it was also the bottom of the market in '96 - I couldn't have timed it better!
Now, I've got the L78 for my son Benjamin, and with another son on the way - I guess I need to find another L78 project Nova. Looks like my 'will' is full!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
If I could figure out a way to snag this '67 Z for Amanda..... Hmmmm.....
