This guy sez he will end this auction for a $1000 buy it now...is this tach really worth this much?

With only 600 cars produced and since only a fraction had the tach. It is a difficult to find item.

If you have the L78 car that needs THAT TACH and you are doing a 100% correct restoration, then there shouldn't be a price you wouldn't pay on it (within reason). Is $1,000 too much? Maybe. But do they reproduce it? If they do, can you tell it is a repro? If not then i would say it is worth it.

OK, that guy apparently didn't have the money sooo it was put back up at $499 BIN and it is gone again.
