------Not the worst starting place Ive ever seen! Is that some kind of attempt at a subframe connector in the one pic in the bottom row on the right??? Assuming that all is as the seller states what are the predictions on final price??? If this was a 69 Z in axactly the same shape what do you guys think it would bring??? Hope thats not too many questions for a Sunday morning.......Bill S

Motor Cast in first week January, built in Feb, but the car is 04 C, 3rd week in April, that's over a 3 month spread from casting to build. It does not say weather the motor is the original one. Is that spread too far for a L78 car?
Looks like a great project if the motor is the original one.

My mistake the car is located in Brasstown, NC. Is there anyone on the sight that is located close to this car?

The car does look like it has subframe conectors.

I do know of two L-78 Camaros and 1 L-89 car (all documented) that have a several month spread between motor build and the build date of the car.

Any information on this car would be greatly appreciated.

Rich,

I have a original L/78 engine out of a '69 SS Nova that is
over 5 months spread between the cast date & engine assembly date.
It can happen.....

Nuch

I thought that might be the case. In this case, the owner is on crutches and the VIN at the oil filter has not been checked yet, so this is not for sure a 100% # matching car.

When I talked to the owner the person bought it was paypaling over a deposit as we spoke. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Good for him! If the motor is # match, he got a smoking deal!
