For those in need for their closing doses of speed for 2007, don't forget the Pure Stock Drags at Stanton , Mi this 14th and 15th of Sept. Looks like good air to see your favorite cars honk down the track. Don't miss the greatest show on earth.

...and bring your winter gear. Accuweather.com is showing a high of 63 on Friday, with a chilly 56 degree high for Saturday. All those Camaros, Corvettes and Chevelles are gonna just love that heavy air. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

I spoke to Chris Robbins around 1:30, and they were just getting started after a little rain in the morning. The fastest car down the track at that time ran a 12.18 or so, and was a 440 car - the one with the university decal on the doors.
The '68 L89 Nova's first run was a 13.01 at 107mph. Must've spun the tires http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Next update:
JJ and Pennington are running 11.80's with their ZL1 vettes.
The L89 Nova is running 12.60's at 108.
The silver COPO Nova is running 13.60's, but not sure if Pete has run his car yet.
Rob is in the 12.40's I think.
Looks like good air, but a stiff head wind. We'll see what tomorrow brings http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
