You are entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. Burnished Brown is oh so cool! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif It'll just lul the competition into a slumber and then WHAM...it's all over. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I would imagine the color change is a set back for many here... regardless, nice car http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I dont think the color change is the reason im not getting any serious offers. Lots of nice musclecars have had color changes. If you want a concourse correct car that is flawless you know the price would be at least $10-15k more than im asking. Ive sold many nice cars with color changes. Thanks for the analysis of why it hasnt sold yet though. id imagine its because the musclecar market is a bit slow right now and there ofetn arent many serious buyers on these type of boards either. Trying to avoid Evilbay..........

IMO, I see more serious buying going on here than most boards...I agree, it's a soft market for some cars and for me anyways, the color change does make a difference.
It's a nice car and good luck with the sale!!

I, for one, would rather have it in brown...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Burnished Brown is a one-year offering and I gotta agree with most of the others here; it's one of the coolest colors Chevy ever offered. I loved it in '69 and have never changed my mind.
Your car is cool in Black but my personal taste would have led me back to Brown.
Also, I hope someone here steps up to make the buy. I can't agree with the statement about this site being the wrong venue.

The price might have more to do with it not selling than this site or the color change.

------Helllllooooooo,,,,,,It doesnt have solids. We all know they made some grocery-getter hydraulic cam cars (more than some), but one of them has to be a real piece of work to get noticed here. JMHO!!!.......Bill S

Agree with Bill and Charlie. It's not getting bought because:
Too expensive for an L34 Chevelle with a color change and also no paper. $45K is all the money for a car like that (as nice as it is--I like it). If the price started with a "3" it would be sold already...

This is supposed to be a FOR SALE forum, not a why i dont like your car or why you should have done this or that or i think its too expensive. The price is not firm and if you dont want to buy it thats OK with me. Someone will im sure of that. I never said my price was firm either. Please dont make comments if you dont like something about my car whether you dont like the asking price or color change etc. If you want to make an offer or your interested in buying it PM me or call me. Thanks

-----Ray,,,You actually were the one who was giving us a reason why there were no offers on this board. We were just giving you the real reasons as we see them. You have an OK car and although I think it may be difficult it may do the number. Some of the pure Chevelle boards might also be good choices for sales.........Bill S

Please guys..no more negative comments about the car. If you dont like the way it is restored or the price and its not your taste then simply pass on it. Thanks! Its on other sites as well including chevelle boards.
