After the 2 month+ long delay in getting my Chevelle on a frame rack (chronicled here (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/285526/an/0/page/1#285526) and here (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/288055/an/0/page/1#288055) ), the wait is finally over. I just took a trip to the frame shop so I could see how bad the damage is.

Of course, it was worse than anticipated, but it's not D.O.A. ("dead on its axles") http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Larry" the frame guy assured me it's a relatively easy fix. As a perk, Larry seems to be a bona-fide car guy, and was like a kid in a candy store in regards to the chance to work on the Chevelle. I can't tell you how much that put my mind at ease.

I snapped up some pics of the car on the frame rack, and I'll try to get an "after" set of pics once the repairs are done. I'll post everything up on my website as soon as its ready and post up here in case anyone wants to check it out.

Oh, btw...as of this morning, I have 3 standing offers to buy the car as-is. (no it's not for sale)

I kind'a figured that would happen. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

More later.
