Open House..

Went to a cool shindig yesterday in Gloversville, NY...Boyd's Motorworks had an open house to celebrate their new 5,000 sq.ft. shop...Jack Boyd is the owner and is well known in the area for performance work....great guy who does great work!! Couple of other car buddies went along for the 75 mile trip...Jason hale brought his 68 L78 Nova and I brought the 68 Butternut Yellow car...lots of fun and perfect weather...took some pics..

There were some cool cars there...some guy had a 950hp pro street Nova along side my yellow car..4" exhaust..outrageous! another guy had an 81 Camaro with a 600 plus horsepower BB..these mountain boys are nuts http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Beautiful day for a cruise...we had 3 cars together cruising up the NYS Thruway..2 BB Novas and a 67 Camaro..Karen was out in the Berger...naturally http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Bruce was at Speedworld (drag strip) all day yesterday...very little muscle...lots of tuner cars and motorcycles. Fastest GM product was an 80's Camaro street car running 10 flat...

This guy has a great operation...cool dyno...clean room...machine shop..first rate set up....he did an 70 L78 engine for me this past winter...430hp/440lbs with the flat intake and stock cam http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

What a great day to do a cruise with friends. My son plays pop warner football and we have just been so busy with it we don't get much spare time to play with the toy's. So when Tom called to see if we wanted to go I just made the time. I havn't drove the car in like 6 weeks. So after football practice Saturday morning we met Tom and Randy with his camaro. It was a rare site on the NY thruway to see 2 68 BB nova's and a really nice 67 camaro. The heads were turning. On the way home the purrr of the BB put my co-pilot to sleep. It was a great day thanks for the invite Tom.
