For sale: complete just pulled from friend's 70 chevelle...carb to pan..runs perfect... description is based on my friends description of internals..have not pulled pan personally, but can pull for buyer upon payment..
I know it runs great though...less than 4k miles since complete rebuild by performance shop near Phila. ...my friend pulled this motor because he bought a small block blower motor....
3999280 Block cast date E-20-71
CE250491 front pad (has large hole(s) above oil filter)
suppose to be 4 bolt...w 6223 steel crank and dimple rods and 11:1 pistons...comp cams solid cam w/ .605 lift..
I totally believe my friend's description, but like I said, I have not yet dropped the oil pan.
291 sq. port heads dated F-10-9 and F-18-9...MR Gasket head bolts..w/ comp cams roller rockers and chrome hi rise valve covers...
edelbrock 427x alum intake (painted orange)
750 demon carb..mech secondaries..
accel distributor w/super coil...accel wires...
CAT chrome fluid damper...chrome oil pan...long waterpump w/chrome alt. bracket and black ps brackets... both waterpump and crank pulleys included...no fan...no alt, no ps pump, no starter,no air cleaner or no flywheel...otherwise complete.....motor is presentable, but should be repainted to be perfect...you could install in one day and you could be winning shows next weekend!!
before listed on Ebay....offered here...pickup only 1/2 hour North of Phila. just off I-95.... 4800$$ offers...
a few days only... the parts would cost more to build this motor...let alone the machine work...scrap that small block!!! hahaha this is actually now my brothers motor and I'm listing this for him...if you email or PM me I'll pass along his cell number..
