Hello, I am selling my 1969 L-78 396 375 HP, four speed , Special order(-) Rallye green L-78 Chevelle. It has the original motor, trans(rebuilt),shifter, rear, distributor, carb ,intake, interior (Black buckets with console and gauges),brake parts, fuel and brake lines,YA wheel etc.It does have some drivers quarter damage and will need some roof repair. I do have a set of NOS quarters and fenders for the car.I can have the quarter and roof repaired if someone wishes.
I was told there are three Rallye green 1969 Chevelle's with this being the only L-78 at this time.It is a Fremont built car and is very nice under the car.I am asking $30K or best reasonible offer.I would like to sell it but if I dont get a fair offer on it I will send it out the the body shop and get the restoration started and offer it for sale when it is done.
If you are interested in it you can e-mail me at [email protected] for more info and photos.

It will make a nice winter project and could be ready by spring.

I would consider any nice 1969 Camaro's for trade towards it.

Thanks Doug

Sounds like a really nice, rare Chevelle. Wish I was in a position to buy it. Good luck, Doug http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Doug,

Did you ever locate any documentation?

Sean

I have located some of the owner history, and who I believe is the original owner.I have not completely searched the car for a build sheet. It is a Fremont California built car so I am still hoping there is one in the car.I am at a point where if there is some great if not it does have the original motor ,trans and rear, with all the bogus paper out there now the original drive train in my opinion is much better.I believe I have it priced fairly enough where if the next owner finds some it would only be a plus for him.

Thanks Doug

Would be nice if it was there but with 40-50k on a resto it would be hard to buy it. Neat car will be nice if someone restores it.
