I just ran across this Flickr members photo stream, and thought I'd share it. Shows some interesting Novas and Nova SS's. I can't figure out which country it's from, but these are car show photos.

My guess is Argentina. Gm shipped lots of Cars there in the 70's as parts kits for local assembly.

Those are Argentina Novas. We have a member from Argentina with one at stevesnovasite.com. His screen name is martinchevy73. He has shared a lot of very cool information on those. They are called serie 2 and other things like that. The oldsmobile style wheels are factory ... they all come with six bangers but those guys do alot to them. The instrument clusters are really cool. I have seen a picture of a Nova from Africa that is a factory hardtop which they never made here. GM offered some neat stuff across the pond.

If this link works here is a show in Argentina with Martins orange nova. Martin collects American plates and at this show he used several of our plates throughout the day on his orange nova http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif I'll try to link to some ads he has posted on these cars too.

Looks like these are photos from the same show. That's pretty cool the way GM built them down there.

Cool cars and a few unique parts shared w/ the Canadian Acadians..
Regardless of what years they called them, the hood vents on the 62-65's are cool but a few ugly ideas too...like the quad lamps!.
Looks like they skipped the '66-67' body style completely!.
And weren't there some '68 and up 4 Dr. SS cars?
Like the Ausie and South African cars, I wonder what shared Nos parts are still hanging around down there?http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif.

Ranier,
Thanks for the link. Looks like they didn't have the lock in the column yet in 73. That dash would look cool in a 68 though.
Think I'm gonna have to cruise Argentina e-bay..... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
