Although I did not sell the Z-06 to a Board member here, I did appreciate the interest, and the intelligent questions that were asked. So let's try this one. I have available for purchase a very nice, frame-off restored GTO 4 speed, Bermuda Blue, with Sandalwood interior and a white convertible top. It still contains its born-with 400 engine, 4-speed trans, and probably rearend (rearend not VIN stamped). Full PHS and other original paperwork available, and matches the car perfectly. Factory options include rally wheels, dash tach and gauges, power steering, posi-traction, simulated wood wheel, console, AM/FM mono radio, and power top. A very nice frame-off restoration was completed, using a nice mix of NOS and repro parts, about four years back to a very high standard. The paint is just beautiful. The interior is very nicely trimmed, just NOT absolutely perfect. Suspension has been detailed, but now shows flash rust on non-plated components. Engine paint has burned off in a spot or two. Drives on center. Stops well for manual drum brakes. Runs very well. Shifts perfectly. New repro top, boot, and floor mats never installed are also included with the car.

The market has softened, no question about it. My gut feeling is that it will soften some more. It was very hard to assess a value at this time, but I believe this car is unique by color and options, with it's very well done restoration, and I assess a rating of one minus to two plus. Opinions may vary, and I look forward to your questions and thoughts. I will include a link to about 50 photos. I apologize for the data plate and engine VIN photos, but I guaranty they are original, and I will try to get better photos as needed. I prefer phone calls over emails, particularly for questions and viewing information. I will gladly describe any part of this car as thoroughly and honestly as I can. I am a firm believer in this day and age that smart money hires an expert appraiser, or a Pontiac expert, or better yet, come look, drive, and hopefully buy the car yourself.

The restoration was performed by a very competent shop by the name of American Graffiti, located in New Milford, CT. They do beautiful work, and have many national awards to prove it. They restore every make and model from full classics to muscle cars. They are not Pontiac specific, so do not expect the accuracy of full-time Pontiac only restorers such as Scott Tiemann, especially at the price I have listed this car for. I can be reached in my office at 860-354-4461, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST, or by cell 203-788-1745. The car is located in CT. The price is $58,500. Interesting trades always discussed. Frank, just a thought here, you might want to add a pic of the PHS to your photo album...great color combo and options !! Not many 4sp 'verts made in '70.

Good luck with the sale!
