The only thing I can figure out is a next link the makes them leave the forum, I'd rather see it embedded so they don't leave the thread...School me! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif

I think what Patrick is trying to say is that he wants the Youtube video to run "On his web page" so that if someone clicks on the link it doesn't navigate AWAY from his page...

I could be wrong though... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

BTW, Nice Clapton link... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

embed in post would mean in the post here on SYC im guessing. <embed> & <iframe> tags or ubb code wont work if the admin has html turned off.

so the only way to add a youtube video in a post is to link it.. 69 camaro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8mS_8-hP4E)

Exaclty...most boards keep html turned off to help keep any executable code at bay...

not that I'm a rocket scientist, (everyting I know about posting online I learned at Yenko.net) but these photobucket videos are embedded and don't take you from the post, do they?

It opens up a seperate window...instead of playing in the current window. If you click on the link in my post above....you will notice that the video actually plays from within the webpage...instead of navigating away from the page... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

to move text and images from Adobe.pdf , I copied to a word doc then copied into "MSpaint" saved as .bmp then I could upload. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gifMinutes later I found the text more legible on the web and posted a link !!

Thanks for the help !!
see my new problem on new thread !! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif
