Was for sale with the same pics about 6 months?? or so ago. Different seller,or at least different username,as this person has feedback only for last 3 months or so. I believe it ended up around the same price range as it is now[107K] the last time, but dont recall the exact amount. Black sure is a good color.

Seller's feedback leave a little to be desired. One positive probably should be a neutral.

Caution.......car has been on ebay at least 3 times in the last year. Previous listing on ebay included a copy of the buildsheet which showed questionable authenticity. It's been discussed on several boards including Team Chevelle.
Nice car but should be bid at clone prices in my opinion.

Hey Robbie,
This is Sam from Queen Creek. Welcome to the sYc site. We've talked to each other on the phone a few times over the years. Good to see you "show up" 'round here. I think you will find it to be an excellent reference. We could sure use your input too.

Interesting..no smog pump? I thought an LS6 would have smog. Also p/strg lines aren't correct, neither are starter or fuel pump..aftermarket replacements. Nice car if the docs are real. This would be a fun car no doubt..

Pretty car, indeed; can't beat a Black 70 Convertible!
If you are in the market for a 70 Chevelle Convertible and would like an honest and accurate description, there are two currently being offered by Nickey Chicago.

As you may know, two different width stripes were used in 1970 depending on when your car was mfg. Earlier built ones had the wider stripe by about an inch though these still look a bit too wide for even the widest version. Most put the narrower stripe on when restoring as they just look better.
Trim on gas pedal, clutch, and brake doesn't look correct. Still a nice looking car indeed.

I am pretty sure this car was on e-bay about 1 1/2 years ago and was being advertised as an ls5 convert. i then saw it again on e-bay 6months later advertised as an ls6. Also have seen the paperwork and is totally bugus. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

For $100,000.00+, I would expect to see the fender emblems in their proper location. http://http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b297/rpo-z15/ss.jpg
