This ad notes it's an ex Bob McDorman car and calls it a clone...nothing specific about a BE or 9561 body?.

Steve,
This Camaro sold at the McDorman auction last month, not represented as a real Copo. It sold for under $ 50,000 with the ZL1 motor as it is currently for sale.

I don't see how a 13 year old restoration can be worth 99K. I'd like to see some pictures of the underside. I emailed the seller as to why he thinks this a real copo. No responce.

I may be wrong, but the clutch pedal looks to be from a 1967-68... Crash

The response I got from the seller was just a repeat of what was in the auction. He did use the name Bob Mcdorman about five times in his resply.

He's a Crook fishing for a idiot, One of these days where going to here about a dishonest dealer floating 10 toes up for ripping off the wrong guy and then maybe it will strike some fear into the rest of the crooks.

99k for a real COPO with a ZL1 motor.. WHERE DO I SEND THE MONEY!!

This car was in Bob McDorman's collection for at least the last 12 years. Nothing against Bob, but he makes no effort to store any of his cars properly. IMO, the car would need a lot of work to make worth more than $50k.
No way was this a COPO to start with. Why make a ZL1 clone when you can restamp an L72 and call it a "REAL" car, which would be worth more money?
