I saw this car(pictures to come) driving yesterday, i was blue black stripes with ss tags, however it look like a wagon with out widows and a vinyl roof all the way down. I am going to try to get a closer look does anyone know if a car like this rings a bell? Maybe some funky 70s conversion? it looks to be 68-70 model

Sorry - no such thing as a "real" 4-4-2 wagon. Urban legend.

------Glenn,,,I know that orange wagon pretty well (unless its another nice orange W30 fake) and its a fake. A very nice fake, but still a fake. Have tried to buy it twice now. The first time I saw it was back in the mid 90s at an auction in Las Vegas. A bank had several nice cars there that they had repopped from a guy some of you California guys may remember,,,Peter Sidwell (sp) and this W30 was one of them. I believe it has been on E-bay a couple of times lately at an outrageous price by a dealer in Texas. I spoke to his representative and they were under the delusion that it was a factory delivered car. They arent "anymore" but still maintain that its original in the auctions.........Bill S

Bill
That shot was taken Presidents' Day weekend in Atlantic City in 1990. If my memory serves me correct at
that time it was not being represented as real.
