Since I know Stefano is slammed with business, I wanted to let everyone know the new Nickey Chicago "Instant Funny Car" kit will be ready to launch at Vettefest November 17-18.

Many of you have seen John Tinberg's awesome Nickey Tribute Gasser Chevy II. John has been a major part of the development of this project which is based on the original Bill Thomas kit from back in the day and he will also be joining the Nickey crew with his Gasser at the show. John will be available to answer questions about this new offering. If anyone knows about how to properly build a Straight Axle Gasser, it is John! Beleive me, there is nothing like seeing his Deuce tooling down the interstate at 70+ mph! John drives this car regularly on the street including a stint with the Hot Rod Power Tour.

Be sure to check this out at the show and talk to John, Stefano, Don Swiatek and the rest of the Nickey Chicago crew.

I am sure Steve will chime in with some more details about this cool deal when he can.

Just another reason to go to the Fall Chevy Vettefest! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif www.chevyvettefest.net (http://www.chevyvettefest.net)

We officially rolled out the Funny Car Kit project approximately one year ago.

The project has been a success and we hope to see at least a few of the Finished Cars at next years Vette Fest November 2009.

Here is a link to the First Complete Kit (Serial Number 1)/Project which we sold. First Nickey Kit (http://alteredwheelbasenova.com/the_project)

Thanks to all who help support the Revitalization of the Vintage Gasser and AFX Cars.

Is there a hidden link to the kit on the Nickey website? I can't find any info on it. Very interested in a modern/vintage Duece gasser build.
