This is a standard bore Chevrolet block cast on January 14 1969 "A 14 9". It's 2 bolt main and will easily clean up at .030 over. It's been magged and has no sleeves, helicoils, stripped holes or flaws. The front pad reads "0204JA" and has a partial VIN for a 69 Chevelle but only the first 2 #'s are legible. It reads 19G33**** and the third digit may be a 1 or a 4. Maybe it's the original block out of your L35 (395/325HP) Chevelle or El Camino? It matches some cars on the Scuncio list!
Pics are at www.barefootdave.com/ja (http://www.barefootdave.com/ja) $400 US dollars.
I'll gladly ship it via UPS freight (I get a huge discount). I've found it's under $200 anywhere in the contiental US. Give me your zip code and I'll give ya the shipping price.
